The Activity tab¶
Tools → Staging Guard → Activity lists what the plugin stopped on this staging site, and the critical-error emails it sent to you.
What is logged¶
| Entry | When |
|---|---|
| Email stopped | An email was stopped. |
| Email let through | WordPress's critical-error email went to you, because Send critical-error emails to me is on. |
| Request refused | A request to the live site or to an email service was refused. |
| Webhook not sent | A WooCommerce webhook was not delivered. |

Filter the list with All, Emails stopped, Emails let through, Requests or Webhooks. The tab shows 50 entries a page, newest first; Show details on a row shows everything kept about it.
For each email: the time, the first recipient (partly hidden), how many recipients there were, the first 80 characters of the subject and which plugin sent it. For a refused request or webhook: the time and the host name only.
Never kept: the message itself, its headers or attachments, a full email address, or the path of a web address.
Mail to an address you allowed under Settings simply goes out and is not listed.
Partly hidden addresses¶
The first recipient is shown with all but the first letter hidden: j•••@example.com. That is enough to tell an
order receipt from a password reset, without keeping your customers' addresses on a staging site.
How long entries are kept¶
90 days by default; choose 30, 60, 180 or 365 days under Keep activity for. Older entries are removed once a day, and at most 10,000 are kept. They live in a small table of the site's own.
Deleting the plugin removes the table only when Delete all data when the plugin is deleted is on.
Clear the log¶
Clear activity, below the list, removes every entry on this site after you confirm. It cannot be undone. The button shows when there is something to clear.
On the live site¶
On the live site nothing is stopped, so the tab says "This is the live site: nothing is stopped here." If the site's database came from a staging site, entries recorded there may still be listed, with a note saying so.
